Welcome to BLIMPS — a top-down, multi-vehicular open-world sandbox RPG and roguelite "escape room" built for solo captains and local couch co-op duos.

The surface world is running out of resources. Every time you leave your Hangar, you are losing power, pollution clouds are spreading, and rival pirate blimps are multiplying across the sky. Time is ticking against an escalating threat engine. Blimps does not hold your hand; it is a giant mechanical puzzle requiring multiple strategic runs to master, optimize your routes, and ultimately figure out how to escape the planet before you are completely overwhelmed.

🚀 THE THREE PHASES OF THE CAMPAIGN
Your journey to escape is broken into a dynamic, shifting campaign where every second matters:

• The Opening Game: The Billionaire Space Race (Days 1–3): Race against ruthless corporate AI competitors—Space Y, Nile X, and Sir Space—to reach the Moon.  Gather 10 VIP crew members and secure 10 Golden Cargo crates to launch a rocket to the Moon (and hunt for a hidden silo to Mars) to locate the mythical Moon Crystal. Hit the 3-day target to claim the $1,000,000 reward!

• The Middle Game: The Sandbox Expansion: With the timed space race settled, the world opens up into a massive building and survival playground. Establish solar and fusion towns, fight to become the King of the Seven Kingdoms, and take on arcade mini-games to maximize your final game score.

• The End Game: The Earth Drill Escape: Use your Moon Crystal to power up the large Earth Drill beneath your Hangar. Train your 10 VIPs into a hardened crew, board your drill, and plunge directly to the center of the Earth paradise.

🕹️ GENRE-BENDING ARCADE MINI-GAMES & VEHICLES
Break away from the main blimp cockpit to unlock critical progression gold, score bonuses, and ship upgrades:

• 4-Floor Dungeon Crawler: Descend in a mini earth drill into a procedurally generated labyrinth. Extinguish flames with your water gun to harvest fire ammo, and smash rocks with your shovel plow to extract raw gold.  Battle Shiska Bob, a giant flame boss, on the bottom floor! Melt gold bars after your run to upgrade your Blimp's "Air class"—boosting your ship's size and specs.

• Side-Scrolling 2D Platformer: Transition to a side-view aerial highway gauntlet. Pop floating hot-air balloons to hijack gold bars, shoot down waves of flying cyberplane minions, and battle The Dogcatcher—a large pirate blimp captained by an annoying barking dog.

• 2D Top-Down Cyberpunk Motorcycle Race: Switch gears entirely and drop onto a neon-drenched track. Race solo or with a partner through a dark cyberpunk setting to gather 8 glowing crystals. Deposit them into 8 active turret towers to win 8 precious gemstones, then secure them at the Gemstone Greenhouse to claim your race winnings!

• Multi-Vehicular Sandbox: Seamlessly take control of deep-sea submarines, mini earth-drilling machines, hot-air balloons, motorcycles, and even a funicular!
